Anshula Kapoor calls Parmeet Sethi ‘overacting ki dukaan’ as he reminds Archana Puran Singh not to forget Arjun Kapoor while mentioning her siblings
Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi welcomed Anshula Kapoor on their latest YouTube vlog, as they played pickleball and shared dosas.

Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi welcomed Anshula Kapoor to their latest vlog. They complimented her on her fitness journey, and promptly took her to have buttery Karnataka-style dosas at a restaurant in Mumbai. Archana and Parmeet have been going all around Mumbai trying to find the city’s best food spots, but in their latest vlog, they went to play pickleball with Anshula, and got a bite to eat afterwards. They were joined, as usual, by their sons, Aayushmaan and Aaryamann.
The vlog began at the pickleball court, where Parmeet partnered with Anshula, and they played a match against Aayushmaan and Aaryamann. Archana sat by the courtside, with a portable fan for company. She told the audience that she’s greatly inspired by Anshula’s fitness journey, and that she follows her stories on Instagram. Anshula is the daughter of film producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife, the late Mona Shourie. Her brother is actor Arjun Kapoor, and her half sisters are Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor. As they ate their dosas after the match, Archana asked if she ever felt the pressure to join the film business. Anshula said that she didn’t, and nor did other members of her family. “All your siblings are actors; Khushi, Janhvi…” Parmeet interjected, “Arjun!” Archana told him she was getting there, as everybody laughed at Parmeet’s interjection.
Archana was curious to learn more about Anshula’s fitness journey, and Anshula opened up about the insecurities that she faced, and continues to face even now, even though she has made progress. “I’ve always been a big girl, with a big body type. But I understood only later that I have hormone issues and PCOS. I got a better understanding of my internal body looks like. But I couldn’t find somebody in India who I could relate to on Instagram, people who looked like me. I had to order my clothes specially,” she said, as Archana agreed. The actor said that as a child, she was called ‘moti (fat)’, and that this left an impact on her psyche.
Anshula chimed in, “I can’t take compliments. Physical compliments are a whole different story; they bounce off me. But even if you compliment me on anything else, like something I said or the way I think, an inner voice will say, ‘They’re lying’. Now it’s better, but it’s always difficult to change your default setting. But then you have to tell yourself, ‘Believe it, because you’re working on yourself.'”
But they also had their share of fun moments. Anshula got her first taste of Parmeet’s PJs, and when he said that certain foods are ‘benne-ficial’ – a reference to the kind of dosas they were eating, and the name of the restaurant they were at – the entire table face-palmed. “I don’t think I can be in your team anymore, sir,” Anshula said. She also called him ‘overacting ki dukaan’ when Parmeet looked into the camera and said that he would order last. “None of us have ordered yet,” she exclaimed.
