For her varmala ceremony, Radhika Merchant opted for a beautiful Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga. The ivory Zardozi cut-work ensemble consisted of a trailing ghagra layered with a second detachable trail, a five meter head veil and a tissue shoulder dupatta. She completed her look with a beautiful statement jewellery made with diamonds and emeralds.

Several videos from Anant Ambani’s barat is going viral on social media. Actors Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Anil Kapoor, and Rajinikanth, among others were seen dancing in the barat. Wrestler-turned-actor John Cena too took part in the craziness as he was seen dancing to the dhol beats at the baraat with other guests.Ahead of the wedding, Anant Ambani was also seen performing a small puja remembering his grandfather Dhirubai Ambani and taking his blessings.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant had a traditional roka ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan on December 30, 2022. In March 2024, the couple had their first pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, which was attended by several celebrities from the world of entertainment, politics, and business. Pop icon Rihanna performed during the three-day star-studded bash. In June, the couple had another pre-wedding bash onboard a luxury cruise in Europe. This time, it was a four-day event. The Ambanis hosted over 800 guests. Celebs like Katy Perry and the Backstreet Boys band performed during the celebrations.

After having Mameru-Mausulu ceremony and dandiya night, the couple had a lavish sangeet night at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on July 5. During the sangeet ceremony, several Bollywood celebs including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan performed for the guests. There were several performances by the members of Ambani family too–including Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. The highlight of the night was an electrifying performance by the pop sensation Justin Bieber.

With their wedding finally taking place on Friday (July 12), the couple will have an Aashirwad ceremony on Saturday followed by a grand wedding reception on Sunday. There are reports of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant hosting yet another wedding reception on Monday as well.
