Allu Arjun opens up about his viral wine shop video after 7 years, admits he was buying alcohol: ‘It was for…’

Allu Arjun, who is all set to kickstart the promotions of Pushpa 2, will be discussing the viral video on the chat show Unstoppable with NBK in a special episode.

In 2017, a video of Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun buying alcohol at a wine shop in Goa went viral on social media. The video divided the internet with a group of people supporting the actor, while others slammed him for not being a “responsible” role model. After seven years, the actor broke his silence for the first time on Unstoppable with NBK, where the actor went to promote his upcoming film Pushpa: The Rise.

In the episode, which is yet to air, Allu Arjun and NBK discussed his viral video. In response, the actor confirmed that it was him in the video indeed, but he was buying the alcohol for a friend. The actor added that the friend he mentioned will also appear with him on the chat show.

The episode will air today at 7 pm. It will also stream on the OTT platform Aha. The special episode of the show will release in two parts. The makers released a five-minute-long teaser featuring snippets from the show, promising lot of entertainment. The show will also feature Allu Arjun’s mother Nirmala Allu in special appearance.

This will kick start Pushpa 2 promotions across India. The makers will launch Pushpa 2 trailer in Patna on November 17. The film, directed by Sukumar, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. The film is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. Part 2 will be the continuation of the film, focusing on the rivalry between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil.
