Actor Alia Bhatt has shared a video on her YouTube channel featuring her mother, veteran actor Soni Razdan teaching her how to cook Mac and Cheese. However, the highlight of the video, titled In My Mama’s Kitchen, was their conversation about Alia’s daughter, Raha.
The video begins with Alia sharing how she and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, grew up eating and enjoying their mother Soni Razdan’s delicious signature dishes—many of which the veteran actor now prepares for her granddaughter, Raha. Alia said, “Her food tops all the restaurants and fancy chefs. I can proudly say that my mother’s food is the best food in the whole world. I genuinely mean it. Shaheen and I have certain favourite dishes that we have grown up eating and relishing. We still eat them when we come home.”
She added, “Now, mumma is making those same dishes for Raha, her granddaughter. How life comes a full circle. I have goosebumps!”
Once the Mac and Cheese was ready, Alia adorably blew on the spoon before tasting it. An amused Soni remarked that Alia reminded her of Raha, saying, “She (Raha) always says the food is hot.”
