Just days after making her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in an iconic Gucci saree, Alia Bhatt is back in the spotlight, this time at a close friend’s wedding. A fan account on X (formerly Twitter) shared photos showing Alia dressed elegantly for the occasion. She posed alongside the bride and friends, wearing a white embellished bralette paired with a matching blazer and a cream skirt. Her look was completed with a neckpiece, sunglasses, and a handbag.

Later, the same account posted a video capturing Alia on the dance floor, grooving to the music. While the bride and groom danced in the center, Alia and the other guests celebrated around them. Yesterday, another viral clip from the wedding showed her in a vibrant multi-coloured kalidar lehenga paired with a mustard yellow blouse, accessorized with a purple bandanna and dark sunglasses. Surrounded by the newlyweds and her friends, Alia appeared genuinely happy, laughing wholeheartedly. Actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor also joined the festivities, wearing a purple lehenga.

Alia’s Cannes appearance marked a significant moment in her career. As a L’Oréal ambassador attending the 78th edition of the festival, she spoke about her inspiration for walking the red carpet. “I, for one, have actually grown up watching Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walk the carpet in all her glory and really representing India on this global stage. It was always such a huge inspiration. So it really feels very nice, like a pinch-me moment to be here. And it’s actually really lovely energy.”

Looking ahead, Alia will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She is also set to appear in Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film, a part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, is scheduled for release on December 25 and features Sharvari as well.
