Akshay Kumar survives truck mishap

Akshay Kumar was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in suburban Andheri.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was today briefly admitted to a private hospital after he met with an accident while shooting for the remake of Thuppakki.

A truck passed over his foot while he was filming an action sequence. Luckily he didn’t suffer from any major injuries.

“It all happened so suddenly though Akshay managed to get himself out of the truck’s way. Unfortunately his foot got caught under the wheels,” informed a source,”Though Akshay is a tough man,this was quite painful. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.”

Akshay Kumar was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in suburban Andheri at around 4 PM and was discharged soon after,sources close to the actor said tonight.

They did not disclose the nature of the injury suffered by the 45-year-old actor,but said he was given “primary treatment” and allowed to go home. (With Bollywood Hungama inputs)
