Akshay Kumar-starrer Rustom’s new poster shows that fans can expect the film’s trailer to be out on June 30. The Airlift actor looks dashing as a naval officer for the Tinu Suresh Desai-directed film, which also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta in the lead.

In a tweet, where Akshay shared the poster, he wrote: “Rustom’s patriotism & integrity were questioned. Did he fight back? #3DaysToRustomTrailer @Rustom_Film.”

The movie is based on the real-life incidents of naval officer KM Nanavati, who was accused of murdering Prem Ahuja, his wife’s lover. The film covers the whole affair and then the court trial of the extremely controversial case in 1959, which brought out debates on integrity and betrayal and had garnered huge media coverage at the time.

The poster looks promising and we cannot wait for the trailer to be released in next three days. The film is slated for a worldwide release on August 12.
