Akshay Kumar can turn tide in favour of sensible cinema, says Sanjay Gupta
Sanjay Gupta feels that Akshay Kumar's stardom is such that he can draw viewers to sensible cinema.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta feels that Akshay Kumar‘s stardom is such that he can draw viewers to sensible cinema like the actor’s forthcoming ‘Baby‘, which deals with terrorism.
Sanjay Gupta tweeted:
‘BABY’ is a fantastic step in the right direction by Akshay Kumar. He is a super star who can turn the tide in favor of sensible cinema.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, ‘Baby’ also features Anupam Kher and Rana Daggubati. Gupta has high hopes from the movie, which revolves around a story about how the common man in India faces a threat from terrorists and how the government tries to prevent such attacks. He further tweeted:
I hope and pray ‘BABY’ works. They haven’t gone overboard with their promotions intentionally on Akshay’s say so. Smart & gutsy move.
