Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to return to the ramp after five years

It’s been half-a-decade since actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to the runway. With the India Couture Week to be held in New Delhi at the end of the month, she ends this sabbatical.

It’s been half-a-decade since actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to the runway. With the India Couture Week to be held in New Delhi at the end of the month, she ends this sabbatical. The 41-year-old stunner will walk the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra. He is known for his extravagant shows, with A-listers on the runway and the front row.

While dates of the India Couture Week are not out yet, Sunil Sethi, President of Fashion Design Council of India, confirms that Malhotra will indeed be a part of the week.

Interestingly, the last time Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the ramp was, in fact, for Manish Malhotra in 2010 at the couture week in Delhi. With the actor on board now, the designer’s show will most likely be a bigger spectacle.
