Aditya Roy Kapur on Kartik Aryan headlining Aashiqui 3: ‘People asked me if I wanted to be a part of it…’

Aditya has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Shaan in the Sandeep Modi directorial. Here, he was asked where he places this show in his career, in response, Aditya said, “We’ll see what it does. It is definitely something I am very very proud of. I think something like this doesn’t come around very often where everything connects the dots. The response that the show has got is overwhelming.”

“I think to find out what it’s done you have to look into the future. But for me this is definitely one of the milestones as far as my career is concerned,” Aditya added.

The actor then shared his experience sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor in the two seasons of The Night Manager. He said, “The only flip side is that you get a complex that you don’t work hard enough because Anil sir is definitely the hardest person working in the room, I think that’s the only con. I am fortunate enough to have gotten the opportunity to work with him on a second project and he never ceases to amaze you. You’ve probably heard it before, but it is all true. The zeal with which he comes to work, the passion with which he approaches his role, his attention to detail, he wants everyone to succeed so the whole thing succeeds. Sir’s experience has been valuable in this project.”

The Night Manager part 2 also starring Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from June 30.
