Aditi Rao Hydari makes first public appearance since engagement with Siddharth; blushes when asked ‘Where is jijaji?’

Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Saturday, her first public appearance since her engagement to actor Siddharth. In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the actor can be seen flaunting her engagement ring. The visuals from the airport show a radiant Aditi chatting with a paparazzo who playfully enquired about “jijaji” (brother-in-law), hinting where Siddharth was, making the Hey Sinamika actor smile ear to ear. The actor wore a co-ord set layered with a denim shirt for the airport look.

When the paparazzo asked, “Sir ko nahi lekar aaye? Sorry, jijaji ko nahi lekar aaye? (Did you not bring sir? Sorry, I meant brother-in-law),” Aditi flashed her beautiful smile as she blushed. She then explained that the Chithha actor wasn’t accompanying her and was present elsewhere.

Earlier reports speculated that Aditi and Siddharth had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple. Aditi’s absence from her upcoming series Heeramandi’s promotional event added to the rumours of the actor being married to her long-time beau. However, the couple put the rumours to rest soon and shared a photo on Instagram flaunting their rings and announcing their engagement with a playful “E.N.G.A.G.E.D.”

Their love story began on the sets of the 2021 Telugu film Maha Samudram. While they kept their relationship private, occasional public sightings and a fun dance Reel on Instagram fuelled speculations as the then-rumoured couple were seen dancing to Tum Tum from the Tamil film Enemy. Finally, they made their official red carpet debut for Jubilee screening last year.
