If there’s one savage but polite account on Twitter that one should take note of, it is Abhishek Bachchan’s. The actor often takes on trolls and naysayers with his wit and humour and doesn’t bat an eyelid to even make jokes about himself. His latest Twitter interaction has won over the internet where he schooled a man who asked him to let wife and star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan do more films, while he should look after their daughter Aaradhya.
As PS 2 hit screens, junior Bachchan took to Twitter to laud her performance. He also mentioned how he was overwhelmed by the film and is proud of his wife. On this, a user dropped a comment, “As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya.”
The Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna actor instantly responded to him, writing, “Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves.”
His tweet won the hearts of social media users as they applauded his curt reply and progressive thought process. They dropped comments like, “Thats it … smashing patriarchy out of stadium..,” “Aish took the best decision of her life. “, “Ur reply won my heart @juniorbachchan bro..It shows your love & support to #AishwaryaRaiBachchan ..Just like for males, for every successful woman too there is a loving caring Husband(Like you) behind her..& please Ignore any trolling Abhi..” and “Best husband.”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot on April 20, 2007. They welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan in November 2011. On the work front, while Aishwarya Rai is basking in the positive reviews of PS 2, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in a cameo appearance in Bholaa.
