Abdu Rozik says engagement to Amira not a ‘PR strategy’: ‘People find it hard to believe that a small guy like me has found love’

Abdu Rozik has opened up about his upcoming wedding with Amira and has said that it is not PR strategy or promotion of a new music video.

Social media influencer and Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik recently made headlines after announcing his engagement with fiancé Amira. The singer revealed that they will tie the knot in July and Salman Khan will grace the ceremony. While not much is known about Amira, Abdu had said that she is from Sharjah and is studying Business Administration.

In an interview with Etimes, the 20-year-old singer said that he met Amira at a food joint and it was love at first sight. Abdu also clarified that their engagement is not a PR strategy or any promotion of music video. “Maybe people find it hard to believe that a small guy like me has found love,” he added.

Abdu, who is shorter than his fiancée Amira, says their height difference hasn’t affected their love. Abdu said that he is 115 cm and Amira is 155 cm and added that he used to worry about finding a partner due to his height, but now he’s grateful to have met Amira. He said that while Amira is taller than him, but it has never come between their relationship.

A few days ago Abdu took to his social media handle and shared pictures from the engagement ceremony. He did not reveal Amira’s face, but gave a glimpse of the heart shaped diamond ring.

Sharing the news, he wrote, “I never imagined in my life that I will be so lucky to find a love who respects me and is not burdened by the obstacles in my life 7th of July save the date !! I cannot express to you in words how happy I am.”
