Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, is often called a ‘mini version’ of her mother. Recently, rare childhood photos of Aishwarya Rai resurfaced on Reddit, prompting many fans to comment on the resemblance between her and Aaradhya.

On Monday, the subreddit Classic Desi Celebs shared a series of photos of Aishwarya from before her Bollywood debut. The post featured images from her teenage years and early modelling days. Toward the end of the seven-photo post, two childhood pictures stood out. One appeared to show her around age 10 or 12 sporting a bangs haircut with a headband. The final image captured her seated on a chair in a pink and white skirt, sporting the same hairstyle.

Fans were quick to notice the uncanny resemblance between the mother-daughter duo. Drawing parallels between Aaradhya and Aishwarya, a fan wrote, “Aaradhya is really her mini me.” “Now I know where Aaradhya’s hairstyle inspo comes from,” a person commented, pointing out the 14-year-old’s bangs haircut. A comment read, “She literally grew into her features. Also, styling matters so much. The 3rd pic is such a step up in terms of aura from the previous two.” Another user mentioned, “I suddenly realised her daughter has her features. The second last pic is quite telling.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya Rai recently made an appearance at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, winning millions of hearts with her looks. According to reports, she will reunite with her husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan on-screen for their next film with Mani Ratnam.
