Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was recently spotted with his partner Gauri Spratt at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025. The couple walked hand in hand, turning heads as they joined fellow artistes and filmmakers to inaugurate the 16th edition of the prestigious festival. The event will run for 10 days, featuring screenings in more than 31 languages.
Aamir looked dapper in a black velvet bandhgala, while Gauri wore a striking blue salwar kameez. The duo were seen warmly greeting attendees, with Aamir holding Gauri’s hand as he guided her through the crowded red carpet. Their chemistry quickly caught the attention of netizens, prompting several reactions online.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025 opened with the screening of Baksho Bondi, directed by Tanushree Das. The star-studded event also saw the presence of Aditi Rao Hydari, Shoojit Sircar, Jim Sarbh, and Vir Das, among others.
Speaking at the event, Aamir Khan said, “It’s great to be here in Melbourne. I’m elated to be part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It’s a great initiative of cinema that brings people and cultures together.”
Actor-filmmaker Guru Dutt is being honored at this year’s festival with restored screenings of his iconic works in Pyaasa and Kaagaz Ke Phool. The festival will conclude with the Australian premiere of Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and executive produced by Martin Scorsese. The film, starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor, was recently showcased at the Cannes festival.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt confirmed their relationship on the actor’s 60th birthday. Previously, Aamir was married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married Kiran Rao in 2004, and the couple has a son, Azaad.
