Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are often referred to as the 'last of the stars' in the Hindi film industry. However, Aamir disagrees with this notion. In a recent interview, the Dangal actor shared his belief that every generation will have its own big stars and that, in time, they too will be forgotten. During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Aamir was asked about his thoughts on this generation of actors not getting the same stardom as the actors of the 90s. He said, “Every generation is better than the previous generation. They have our experience. This generation and the coming generation will become equally big stars. Par mujhe nahi lagta ki iske baad koi star nahi hoga. ‘We are the last of the stars’ aisa kuch nahi hai. Humare baad bahut aayenge (But I don’t think there won’t be any stars after us. There’s nothing like we are the last of the stars. Many will come after us).” ALSO READ | Aamir Khan says Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and him are ‘in agreement’ to star in a film together: ‘Just waiting for the right script’ Aamir added, “Hum ginti mein bhi nahi rahenge. Aap log bhool jaaoge. Zamana aage chalta hai. Yahi toh duniya ka reet hai. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. Mahesh makes sure ki destruction ho, phir aap bhool jaate ho har cheez. (We won’t even be counted anymore. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. People will forget us. Time moves forward. That is the way of the world. Mahesh ensures destruction happens, and then you forget everything.)” During a media interaction on his 60th birthday, Aamir Khan revealed that he, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan have discussed the idea of sharing screen space in a film and are simply waiting for the right script. He also quipped that even if the movie doesn’t turn out great, audiences would still enjoy watching the Khan trio together on the big screen. On the professional front, Aamir will next be seen in Sitaare Zameen Par. On the other hand, Salman's film Sikandar is set to hit theatres on March 30. Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan.
