Watch new ad Sharing memories of working with Aamir Khan on Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Ayesha shared, "That was a great learning, if at all my seriousness of work came in the picture anywhere was during Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. We were having a lot of fun, but when work came in, it was very serious. When I used to see Aamir and Mansoor discussing a shot, the seriousness was different, it was completely work mode. That switching on and off was amazing, and that was great learning. There was substance, a lot of professionalism, discussion on the set." She also spoke about how involved Aamir used to be not just in his craft but also in elevating others' performances. "I always say that as an actor, Aamir is versatile, talented, and unhinged. He works on himself. He is very participative when on set. Back then, he would discuss his scenes with Mansoor, and even when I was doing a shot or somebody else, he would participate. If he was on set, he would suggest if we could do the scene in a certain way, and then they would discuss and something nice would come up," she added. Just look at his films from 3 Idiots to PK to Sarfarosh and so many others; all are diverse films. Of course, a lot of actors do that, but I have seen him work; he immerses himself into that character. The realism of that character comes very easily because he has his head on his shoulders – he knows what he is doing, he works towards his characters, and he has been doing that ever since Jo Jeeta days. You see a different Aamir in Andaz Apna Apna, in Sarfarosh, then Dangal; you should see how he chooses his characters and works towards them. He is really a true actor and I am an admirer of the work he does. What he has brought to cinema is the complete shift of realism – how do you make your characters look so real that it is not Aamir but the character there. It’s a lot of learning from them."
