The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) organised a prayer meet at JW Marriott, Juhu, on Sunday in memory of the late legendary actor. The event was attended by his family, friends, and colleagues, who gathered to pay their last respects.
Aamir Khan, Zayed Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Farhan Akhtar, Jaya Bachchan, and several others were present at the prayer meet. Aamir paid his respects and also spoke to the media. He said, “Woh itane kamal ke filmmaker thay ki mein unki films dekhke sikha hu (He was such a great filmmaker, I have learned a lot watching his films ). I regret not meeting him. I knew he wasn’t well, but I couldn’t meet him. I spoke to his son also. I couldn’t meet him, and I will always regret that. I was a big fan of his work and always will be. It’s a great loss. He was one of the greatest filmmakers of India. He was a true son of the soil.” Aamir was also seen shaking hands with actor Zayed Khan.

Farhan Akhtar attended the ceremony with his mother Honey Irani. Esha Deol was also seen paying homage to the late actor. Veteran actor Prem Chopra, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and legendary actor Asha Parekh were also present at the venue.

Manoj Kumar was widely known for his contribution to patriotic cinema. His iconic films such as Kranti, Purab Aur Paschim, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, and Shaheed remain fan favourites and earned him the title of ‘Bharat Kumar’. The legendary actor passed away on Friday due to heart-related issues.
