The three Khans of Bollywood — Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan — have been rivals, but also friends, for years. Salman and Shah Rukh recently showed up to support Aamir’s elder son Junaid Khan at the premiere of the latter’s debut theatrical release, Advait Chandan’s romantic comedy Loveyapa. Now, they showed up at Aamir’s residence ahead of two special occasions — Aamir’s 60th birthday on March 14 and Eid at the end of this month.

A paparazzi video showed Aamir looking out for Shah Rukh as they stepped out of his home on Wednesday evening. Aamir was the first one to come down the stairs. As he spotted the paparazzi stationed outside his residence, he turned around and seemingly warned Shah Rukh. Escorted by security, Shah Rukh stepped down the stairs next, but his face was covered with his black hoodie. While the reason behind covering his face isn’t clear, Shah Rukh has often been seen at the airport, with his face covered, in recent years.

Paparazzo Varinder Chawla had told Hindi Rush that Shah Rukh has been hiding his face from the paparazzi in his private space because of his resentment towards the media after the 2021 arrest of his elder son Aryan Khan. “He was so sad and upset back then; we didn’t care about that. We just kept complaining that SRK doesn’t give us photos and always hides his face. He is mad at the media for what they did to his son,” Varinder said.

Meanwhile, another paparazzi video showed Salman also exiting Aamir’s residence on Wednesday night. However, the three Khans weren’t spotted together. Salman is currently gearing up for the Eid release of his action film Sikandar on March 28. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it’s directed by AR Murugadoss, and also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

On the other hand, Aamir is the first of the three Khans to turn 60 this year. In order to celebrate the milestone, PVR is hosting an Aamir Khan Film Festival, re-releasing some of his most loved films. At the trailer launch of his film festival in Mumbai last week, Aamir claimed that he “doesn’t feel like 60, but like an 18-year-old.” Aamir will next star in Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan-fame. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par is a spiritual sequel to Aamir’s 2007 directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. It also stars Genelia D’Souza.
