A look at these five different short films on Mother’s Day

Terribly Tiny Tales launched five short films that revolve around the concept of motherly love.

To celebrate Mother’s Day this year, Terribly Tiny Talkies launched five short films that revolve around the concept of motherly love. However, the short films titled ‘Cuddly’, ‘Arre Baba’, ‘L’, ‘Mamta Tonic’ and ‘Cheers’ starring Girish Kulkarni, Suhita Thatte and Pankaj Tripathi among others are an unconventional take on a mother’s existence that has never been explored before.

Karan Shetty’s ‘Cuddly’ stars Neena Kulkarni and Shruti Vyas in a tale that revolves around an MBA daughter who works for a childcare company and an old school mother who cannot come to terms with technology placing a mother’s love.

Surya Balakrishnan’s ‘Arre Baba’ is about how a father and daughter cope with life in a mother’s absence. The film stars Girish Kulkarni and Gauri Deshpande.

‘L’ by Amit Masurkar is a simple story about how a mother wants to learn to ride a scooter.

Suhita Thatte starrer ‘Mamta Tonic’, directed by Srinivas Sunderrajan, revolves around a traveling saleswoman, who sells her powerful homemade tonic.

And lastly, Piyush Raghani’s ‘Cheers’ with Ali Fazal and Anju Mahendru is a heart-warming take of a reunion between mother and son after 10 years.
