Internationally renowned Indian actor upset with the director of his upcoming film

This critically acclaimed, internationally renowned Indian actor is pretty peeved at the shoddy treatment meted out to him by the director of one of his upcoming films. The actor who is quite choosy about picking up the right Indian projects given his elevated ‘Hollywood’ status is apparently dismayed at the way his role has shaped up in the thriller that he is a part of. And his ire has only amplified at the director, who is making a movie with a former beauty queen, as the latter promised him the moon and ended up delivering peanuts in context of his role in the movie making it more of a woman-oriented movie giving the ‘heroine’ of the movie much mileage.

Informs our source, “He has been cut to size in everything starting with the poster of the film to his actual role. It was wrong on the part of the director to have promised him something that he couldn’t deliver. And he is also not a part of any major promotional campaigns of the movie.”

For the moment, the actor is maintaining a dignified silence preferring not to cry over spilled milk.
