Siva Balaji’s journey on Bigg Boss Telugu: Highlights
Siva Balaji, who was the angry young men of Bigg Boss Telugu, won the show by gaining the highest votes from the audience. On Jr NTR's show, Siva Balaji had quite an interesting journey. Here are the highlights of his journey on the show.
Siva Balaji won Bigg Boss Telugu season one, took home Rs 50 Lakhs and a winner trophy.
Among the 14 contestants, it is Siva Balaji who made an impact on the audience and won the first ever season of Bigg Boss Telugu, hosted by actor Jr NTR.
The actor took home Rs 50 lakhs and a beautiful trophy. On the stage, he told the host Jr NTR about how unbelievable this journey was for him. He said, “I never expected to be the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu. I had thought that I would be evicted in the middle of season 1. It is really a great feeling to win the show.”
However, now that Siva has won the show, here are reasons why he was the best contestant to walk away the title.
Siva Balaji’s anger: Siva Balaji’s performance in the house was quite remarkable. One of the things that made him popular was his anger. When he had entered the house, he was nothing less than an angry young man. People even now remember how Siva had taken his revenge on Adarsh for making him dance while having food. Throughout the initial weeks, Siva had become a common name in the eviction list but his audience base was so strong that he never walked out of the show.
Siva Balaji contribution to household work: Apart from being an angry young man, Siva proved to be a responsible person as and when required. He was one of the contestants who loved to cook. In the last few weeks, Siva and his co-contestant Hari Teja were the only people making food for the entire household. And of course, we cannot forget Siva’s OCD for getting his dosas right.
Siva Balaji’s playful side: In the last few weeks, we also witnessed the playful side of Siva Balaji. His camaraderie with co-contestant Hari Teja is something the audience is surely going to miss. When it comes to performing a task, while initially Siva did not take it very seriously, we saw him participating to win after he understood the game.
A man of his word: On the show, we saw Siva Balaji follow through with his promises, no matter the situation. The actor never nominated anyone if he had promised them he won’t. The perfect example for this would be when he fought for captaincy against Mumaith Khan. Though he won the task against her, he was ready to give up his captaincy just because he had promised Mumaith.
A perfect family man: Siva Balaji might not have been very expressive but in the last few weeks, we got to know how attached he feels to the family he made inside the Bigg Boss house and the family who was waiting for him to come home soon. In one of the episodes, when his wife had come to see him, we could see his emotions overflow and how he was stealing a sneak peek at letters written by his son.
As an actor, Siva Balaji got his recognition from films like Arya and Chandamama. His recently appeared on screen in Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu and Bala Krishna’s Lion.
