In a bid to tackle unemployment and empower young people with better career opportunities, the Uttar Pradesh government has rolled out a series of youth-focused employment initiatives. From the Rojgaar Sangam Portal, which connects job seekers with employers, to schemes like Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana (MYSY) and other skill development programmes, the government is aiming to bridge the gap between education and industry.

These measures are designed not only to generate jobs but also to encourage entrepreneurship. Here is the list of some opportunities that students and job seekers in UP must know about:

Rojgaar Sangam Portal

The Sewayojan UP Portal, also known as Rojgar Sangam, is an online platform for connecting job seekers with employers. It provides access to government, private, and outsourced jobs and Rojgar Melas, matching opportunities with candidates based on their education, skills, and qualifications.

Once registered, users can visit the official portal at sewayojan.up.nic.in, click on the “Job” icon on the homepage, and browse available categories. Filters such as location, job type, salary, and other preferences help refine the search, making the process more efficient and tailored to individual needs
