WBBSE Board Class 10th Result: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will declare the Class 10 or Madhyamik examination result on May 2. Once released, students will be able to check their scorecards at the official website – wbbse.wb.gov.in.
Candidates will be required to key in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the scorecard.
As per the official announcement, the WBBSE board will announce the Class 10 result on May 2 at 9 am. As soon as the result is declared, students will be able to access it from the official website – wbbse.wb.gov.in.
Last year, the result was declared on May 19, for the exams which were conducted between February 23 to March 4, and before that, the result was declared on June 3, for the exams conducted between March 7 to March 16.
This year, the board conducted the madhyamik exam between February 2 and February 12.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 86.15 per cent. Devdutta Majhi was the West Bengal Madhyamik topper. A total of 6,98,628 students registered for the class 10 examinations last year.
The board exam for Class 10 was conducted at over 2,675 examination centers in the state. The board officials also made surprise visits to the exam centers as a measure to check the instances of cheating and using unfair means.
Students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. After the announcement of the madhyamik Class 10 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the WB Board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the WBBSE result declaration.
