The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit cards for the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (UPPCS) preliminary examination 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official website — uppsc.up.nic.in by logging in with their registration number, date of birth, and gender.
The UPPCS preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on October 12, 2025 across multiple exam centres in the state. Every year, nearly 6 lakh candidates apply for the PCS exam, which recruits for various Group A and Group B administrative posts in the state government.

The admit card contains crucial details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, reporting time, and important instructions. Candidates are advised to carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact the UPPSC helpline for rectification.
The UPPCS Preliminary Examination consists of two objective-type papers: General Studies I and General Studies II (CSAT). Each paper is of 200 marks with a duration of two hours. While the marks of General Studies I will determine selection for the Mains exam, the CSAT paper is qualifying in nature, with candidates required to secure at least 33 percent marks.
