The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the schedule for the written examinations for direct recruitment to various posts under the 2023 cycle.
According to an official notification, the Computer Operator Grade-A written exam will be held on November 1, 2025, while the written exam for Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts) will take place on November 2. Both examinations will be conducted in offline mode using OMR-based question papers.
The Board has specified that both examinations will be held in a single shift on their respective days. Here’s an overview of the schedule —

As per the official statement, the names of the districts where the examination centres will be located will be published seven days before the examination date. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards three days before the examination.
The Board has further clarified that all details related to the examination, including instructions for candidates, will be communicated only through the official UPPRPB website uppbpb.gov.in, and further necessary directions will be issued in due course through the Board’s website.
The recruitment drive was first notified in 2023 to fill vacancies across different categories in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The posts advertised included Computer Operator Grade-A as well as Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts). Candidates who applied under this notification will now be appearing for the written examination as per the selection process.
