The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Friday announced that the Intermediate practical exams for 2025 will be conducted on April 7 and 8 for students who were unable to appear earlier. In a notice released on the Board’s official ‘X’ handle, it clarified that this will serve as the final opportunity for such candidates to complete their practical examinations.

The initial phase of the UP Board Class 12 practical exams for 2025 took place in two sessions, the first from February 1 to 8 and the second from February 9 to 16. However, due to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 Session 1, some students were unable to take their exams. To accommodate these students, the board has rescheduled the practical exams.
The UP Board has also specified arrangements for students based on their circumstances. The notice states, “If all the candidates of a particular school missed the practical exam, their practical exam will be conducted at their respective school. In some cases, the exams of individual students who missed the exam will be held at the practical exam center designated at the district headquarters, as decided by the District School Inspector/Regional Offices.”
Furthermore, students who missed their exams must contact their registered school or the District School Inspector’s office to confirm their designated exam center and participate on the given dates. The board has emphasised that this will be the final opportunity, stating, “In this regard, the students who missed the exams should contact their registered school or the District School Inspector’s office to find out the designated exam center/school and participate in the examination on the specified date. Please note that no further opportunity will be provided for the practical exam after this.”
