The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has opened registration for UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026. Online registration began on October 1, 2025. Students planning to appear for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and Common Entrance Test for Design (CEED) need to note that the last date for registration is October 31, 2025 without a late fee. Students who miss this deadline can still apply with a late fee till November 7, 2025. The official website is uceed.iitb.ac.in for UCEED and ceed.iitb.ac.in for CEED. UCEED is the national-level entrance examination held every year for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur, along with several other participating institutes. The exam evaluates a candidate’s aptitude for design, creativity, visualisation skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. According to the schedule released by IIT Bombay, the UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026 examination will be held on January 18, 2026 (Sunday) from 9 am to 12 pm. The admit cards will be available for download from January 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm, and candidates can report discrepancies, if any, until January 8, 2026, 5 pm. Post-exam, the answer key for Part A will be released on January 20, 2026, and candidates will be allowed to submit comments till January 22, 2026. The final answer key will be published on January 28, 2026. The Part A cut-off marks will be declared on February 5, 2026, while the results will be announced on March 6, 2026. Candidates can download their scorecards from March 10, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
