University of Sheffield offers International PG Scholarships for September 2026 intakeApplicants must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield before they apply for this scholarship.

The University of Sheffield, UK, is offering an International Postgraduate Scholarship worth £3,000 to international fee-paying students starting their studies in September 2026. The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee discount to eligible students who accept their admission offer from the University of Sheffield before July 7. No additional application is required for the scholarship.

The scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any funding (full or partial) from an external sponsor, excluding a loan, which has to be paid back in full. If applicants are receiving a loan (which has to be paid back in full) from an organisation to which the university offers a discount, applicants are not able to combine this scholarship with the discount – the most valuable award will take precedence.

Applicants must study a course in full at the University of Sheffield.  The scholarship is for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying online or via distance learning are not eligible for the scholarship. Part-time students will receive the full-time equivalent of the scholarship split pro rata over the duration of the Master’s course, subject to all eligibility and award criteria.

If applicants are studying a 2-year master’s programme, the scholarship will be available in the second year of their studies, subject to successful completion of year 1.
