The recruitment drive seeks to fill around 3,058 vacancies for undergraduate posts. The official website of RRB NTPC – rrbapply.gov.in has made the notification and application process available.
The application process for recruitment under the Centralized Employment Notification No. 07/2025 for various NTPC UG posts will end on November 27, 2025.
Under RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment, for undergraduate posts, vacancies for commercial cum ticket clerk, accounts clerk cum typist, junior clerk cum typist and trains clerk will be filled in different Railway zones and production units nationwide.
Applicants can apply for one RRB post and only one application will be required to be submitted.
Candidates must meet certain eligibility conditions related to nationality, age, educational qualifications, medical fitness, and other criteria:
– Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or meet specific conditions for Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan refugees, or persons of Indian origin as per government rules.
– Age Limits: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age varies by category, ranging from 30 years for unreserved candidates to relaxations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen, with applicable upper age limits after relaxation going up to 45 years or more for specific categories.
– Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have the minimum prescribed educational qualifications from recognized boards or institutions as of the last date of application submission. Those awaiting final results are advised not to apply.
– Medical Fitness: Candidates must pass medical standards specific to the posts, including vision and physical fitness standards. Special provisions and medical standards apply to persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
The examination fee is Rs 500 for general candidates and Rs 250 for reserved categories including SC, ST, PwBD, economically backward classes, female candidates, and others eligible for concession.
The first stage CBT is of a screening nature, and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the posts. The normalised score of the first stage CBT shall be used for short listing of candidates for second stage CBT as per their merit.
