OJEE 2024 counselling begins for lateral entry courses at ojee.nic.in

Candidates must have the documents for counselling such as JEE Main 2024 or OJEE 2024 rank card, class 10 marksheet, diploma certificate, valid photo id, class 12 marksheet or certificate, school or college leaving certificate and other appilied category certificate.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has started the registration for OJEE 2024 counselling. Eligible students can apply for counselling at the official website – ojee.nic.in.

OJEE 2024 counselling registration has been started for the following courses Lateral Entry (LE) programmes – B Parma (LE Pharm for D Pharm candidates) and BTech (LE Tech for diploma candidates).

Candidates must have given documents for counselling such as JEE Main 2024 or OJEE 2024 rank card, class 10 marksheet, diploma certificate, valid photo id, class 12 marksheet, school or college leaving certificate, nativity or residence certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, EWS certificate.

OJEE 2024: Eligibility for lateral entry admission:

— The candidates aspiring to be admitted to technical programmes should have passed a least 3-year or 2-year (lateral entry) with a minimum qualifying mark of 45 per cent for open category.

— The candidates from ST and SC categories have a passing mark relaxation of 5 per cent, i.e. 40 per cent.

– Candidates aspiring to lateral entry into the BPharma programme must have a diploma in diploma in pharmacy (D Pharm)

– General category candidates must have at least 45 per cent marks in their DPharm, while ST and SC candidates must have a minimum of 40 per cent marks.

Candidates are requested to qualify for these eligibility criteria otherwise, their admission might not be taken into consideration.

OJEE 2024: Reservation criteria for lateral entry counselling

— Five per cent reservation for the physically challenged candidate.

– There is a provision of  5 per cent of TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seats (Supernumerary); that will only be available for courses in institutions where at least 50 per cent  sear are “Approved Intake” in the previous academic year.

According to the official brochure, no reservation provision is mentioned for admission in  LE BTech programme for Engineering (for Diploma Holders) and  LE BTech (for +3 Sc, BSc degree holders. However, there is some vacancy from last year in the EWS category.
