ICAR AIEEA PG, AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the date for Indian Council of Agricultural Research (lCAR) Entrance Examinations [AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF(PhD)]- 2023. The exam will be conducted on July 9 (Sunday). Candidates can check the exam date on the official ICAR website — icar.nta.nic.in.

The examination will be conducted in approximately 89 cities across the country. The NTA will issue the city intimation slip and admit cards in the coming days.

There are 74 agricultural universities under the ICAR-AU system. It comprises of 63 state agricultural, veterinary, horticultural and fisheries universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR-DUs— IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, 3 central agricultural universities — CAU Imphal, Dr RPCAU Pusa, RLB CAU Jhansi, 4 central universities having faculty of agriculture— Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, Viswa Bharati and Nagaland University.

National Agricultural Research, Education and Extension System (NAREES) of India is admitting more than 28,000 students at UG level and has over 17,500 students in Master’s and Doctoral level annually and has different disciplines of Agricultural and Allied Sciences. NAREES is considered as one of the largest institutions in the world.
