NEET PG 2024 Exam: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) on June 22, a day before the exam postponed the National Eligibility Entrance Test, Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam and will soon announce the revised exam dates. The exam, scheduled to be conducted on June 23, has been cancelled for unknown reasons.
As the students wait for a fresh exam date, let’s look at the important guidelines for exam day.
Candidates have to carry a hard copy of the admit card to the centre. In case students have not downloaded their admit card, they can do so from the official website— natboard.edu.in.
But before you appear in the NEET PG examination, here is a list of important instructions or guidelines that a candidate has to follow.
– Candidates are not allowed to wear ornaments including – rings, bracelets, nose pins, chains, necklaces, brooches, badges, and pendants among others.
– Candidates should not have any accessories like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, etc.
– Candidates need to carry their admit card (assisted with their passport photo) and original identity verification card such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID card, Aadhaar card, and passport.
– Applicants are also required to bring a photocopy of permanent or provisional SMC, MCI, or NMC registration, which will be later retained.
– Students will be requested to flash their admit card and ID proof at the table with a barcode reader to obtain their assigned lab number.
– NEET PG aspirants (Indian citizens or OCI) who have qualified for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) must bring their original screening test certificate issued on NBEMS letterhead.
– Foreign candidates are required to bring their original passport along with registration of the medical council of their country. (Proof of being a medical practitioner).
– Personal with disability (PwD) claiming scribe or extra time need to bring a PwD certificate issued by the competent authority.
– Candidates should reach the exam center reporting counter as per the reporting timing mentioned in their admit card. No candidate will be allowed to bring any electronic or edible item into the examination hall.
– Candidate will not be provided with the facility to keep their article at the exam centre by NBE.
– Candidates have to coordinate with staff during security checks.
The NBE has made provisions to tackle technical disruption that could happen during exam tests, candidates are assured that they are provided with the complete allocated exam time.
The NEET PG 2024 results will be released by July 15, whereas the cut-off for completion of the internship towards eligibility for the exam will be announced on August 15.
