NEET-UG now must for Forestry, Agriculture and related fields in Kerala

Students who wish to apply for fields related to medical will also have to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), states the latest notification by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerela.

Those who aspire to take up course including BSc Agriculture, BSc Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science etc will have to clear the NEET exam as the admissions will be decided based on the NEET-UG rank.

The new admission criteria is said to be implemented from the coming academic year thus NEET UG 2019 is going to be critical. The admission to the AYUSH related courses in Kerela will also be based on the state’s NEET rank list.

Seats in medical and dental colleges were already decided based on the competitive exam score. The seats reserved under NRI quota will also be filled based on the NEET 2019 result.
