MPBSE MP Board Class 10th, 12th Pass Percentages Analysis: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has concluded the MP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations. The MP Board Secondary Class 10 exam was held between February 27 and March 21, while the Class 12th MPBSE senior secondary examination concluded on April 4. As of now, the MP Board has not announced the result declaration dates, however, last year the MPBSE declared MP Board Class 10th, and 12th results on April 24.
MP Board students will be able to check their scorecards from the official website– mpbse.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, mpresults.nic.in– once released. As MPBSE Class 10th and 12th students await an update from the MP board for the results, here are the last five years’ pass percentages of both secondary and senior secondary.

For MP Board Class 10, the highest pass percentage was recorded in 2021 at 100%, which is due to mass promotion during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the other years, the percentages show a fluctuating but generally downward trend. In 2020, the pass percentage was 62.84%, which slightly dropped to 59.54% in 2022. A modest rise was observed in 2023 with 61.32%, but it again declined significantly to 58.10% in 2024, marking it as the lowest in the five-year span.
Similarly, MP Board Class 12 also saw its peak in 2021 with a 100% pass percentage due to pandemic-related academic decisions. In 2020, the pass rate was 68.81%, which slightly declined in the following years. In 2022, it stood at 65.28%, followed by a improvement to 66.47% in 2023. However, like Class 10, the Class 12 results also saw a drop in 2024, falling to 64.49%.
In 2024, a total of 827,563 students registered for the exams, comprising 416,501 boys and 411,062 girls. Among them, 6,018 were absent, including 3,847 boys and 2,171 girls. The number of students who appeared for the exams was 821,545, with 412,654 boys and 408,891 girls. A total of 212 exams were canceled, with 151 involving boys and 61 involving girls.
The class 12th pass percentage was improved from 2023’s 55.28 per cent to 64.48 per cent in 2024. The overall pass percentage for Class 10th was 58.10 per cent in 2024.
