Manabadi Results 2023, TS SSC Results Declared: The Board of School Education, Telangana today declared the SSC (Class 10) results. Nearly 4.90 lakh students registered for the exam. The exams were held from April 4 to 11. Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official websites – bse.telangana.gov.in or bseresults.telangana.gov.in.
The overall pass percentage stood at 86.6 per cent. While declaring the result, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said: “It is saddening that some students have resorted to suicide after the results of intermediate exams were announced yesterday. I appeal to all students and parents of those who could not pass to prepare well and take the option of advanced supplementary exams starting June 14.”
Students needed to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject and overall to pass the examination. The TS SSC (Class 10) result were declared at Godavari Auditorium, SCERT Complex, Hyderabad, at 12 pm. A total of 2793 schools have recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage.
The number of students appeared for the exam were 4,84,370 out of which 4,19,460 students cleared the exam. This year, the overall pass percentage has decreased from 90 per cent in 2022 to 86.6 per cent.
Last year, a total of 5,03,579 students appeared for the TS SSC exam, out of which 4,53,201 students cleared the exam. Out of the total students who cleared the exam, 2,48,146 were girls and 2,23,799 were boys. Girls outperformed boys with 92.45 per cent pass percentage. In 2021 and 2020, the pass percentage was 100 per cent as students were promoted on the basis of their internal exam due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
