This time, the Class 10 SSC board exams were conducted by MSBSHSE board from February 21 to March 17. Last year, the MSBSHSE board declared the Class 10 SSC results on May 27, 2024. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 95.81 per cent last year, which was 1.98 per cent more than 2023’s.
With pass percentage of 96.14%, girls in Maharashtra Board SSC Exams 2025 have outperformed boys. This year male candidates have secured 92.31% pass rate.

A total of 15,60,154 students registered for the Maha aSSC exam last year, of which 15,49,326 appeared and 14,84,431 passed the exam. The pass percentage of girls was 97.21% and boys was 94.56%.

Maharashtra school education minister Dada Bhuse said the CBSE curriculum will be implemented in the state till Class 12 by 2028. Making a statement in both houses of the state legislature, Bhuse said the new curriculum will come into force for standard one from 2025 and cover all the classes till 12th in 2028.
“In 2026, standards 2, 3, 4 and 6th will be covered, while 2027 will cover standards 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th. In 2028, 8th, 10th and 12th will be covered,” Bhuse said.

The MSBSHSE board Class 10 exams last year were held between March 1 to 26.
The overall pass percentage stood at 95.91 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased slightly from 2023. From a total of 15,60,154 students who registered, 15,49,326 appeared and 14,84,431 passed the Class 10 exam. The girls had again performed better than the boys. The Konkan district with pass percentage of 99.01 per cent was at the top.
