The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will award a financial incentive of Rs 25,000 to those students who passed the Class 12 exam with 75 per cent and above marks last year in the MP board exams. This initiative is aimed at supporting students in their pursuit of higher education and equips them with the necessary tools to succeed in the digital age.
The incentives will be awarded on February 21, 2025, with approximately Rs 224 crore being transferred to the accounts of over 89,000 students across the state. This substantial investment in the education sector is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s youth, empowering them to achieve their academic and professional goals, an official statement said.
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) on April 24 last year declared its Class 12 board exam results. Jayant Yadav topped high school exams last year. As many 2,92,766 students got first division in MP board 2024 Class 12 exams, 1,09,261 students got second division and a total of 422 students received the third division. The pass percentage for Class 12 in 2024 board exams was 64.48 per cent. In 2023, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 55.28 per cent.
