Lokah Chapter 1 box office collection Day 17: On its third Saturday, Kalyani Priyadarshan's film Lokah Chapter 1 registered an impressive overall theatre occupancy of 66.89% in the Malayalam language.

Lokah Chapter 1 box office collection Day 17: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra has been unstoppable at the box office, becoming one of the biggest blockbusters of Malayalam cinema in 2025. Even after running in theatres for more than two weeks, the film shows no signs of slowing down and has amassed a net total of Rs 112.1 crore in India. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, it earned Rs 6.35 crore on Day 17 alone.

Lokah, made on a budget of Rs 30 crore, is the third highest-grossing Malayalam film, after L2 Empuraan – Rs 268 crore, Manjummel Boys- Rs 242.3 crore, and Thudarum – Rs 237.76 crore.

As per Sacnilk, on its third Saturday, Lokah Chapter 1 registered an impressive overall theatre occupancy of 66.89% in the Malayalam language. The highest occupancy was reported in the Chennai region at 93.33%. Meanwhile, Telugu-speaking regions saw an overall occupancy of 28.75%.

When the film crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office recently, Kalyani Priyadarshan shared the announcement on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Yesterday, our film reached a number that was only possible because of you, the audience. I’m beyond speechless, and truly beyond grateful for the love being showered on this film. In our industry, content has always been king, the biggest star of all – and once again, you’ve proved that to us. Thank you for giving us the chance to show that stories with vision will always find their place with you.”

She added, “And @dominic_arun (our Dom)… thank you for giving us a vision we could believe in with our whole hearts. You’re the reason we were all so excited to give everything we had – and it’s safe to say none of this would have been possible without you.”

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, Lokah also stars Naslen K. Gafoor, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan.
