Karnataka PUC, SSLC 2025: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board on Thursday released details about the board examination for the second PUC (Pre-University Course) or Class 12 board exams and SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) or class 10 board exams.
As per the Board’s press release, a total of 7,13,862 students – 3,35,468 boys, 3,78,389 girls, and five transgender persons have registered for the Karnataka PUC exam. On the other hand, for SSLC, 8,96,447 students – 4,61,563 boys, and 4,34,884 girls will appear for the examination.
To prevent malpractice and ensure the smooth conduct of examinations, a restricted zone will be established within a 200-meter radius around all examination centres. Photocopy, cyber, and computer centres located within this zone will remain closed on exam days.
Strict action will be taken under the Education Act against anyone involved in question paper leaks or any other examination-related irregularities. Adequate police personnel will be deployed at all centers for security, according to Minister Bangarappa.
The minister also stated that answer sheets will be evaluated immediately after each examination, and the results will be analyzed to help students focus on areas needing improvement. Karnataka currently conducts three annual examinations, providing multiple opportunities for students to enhance their performance.
