Karnataka PGCET 2024: Revised date out; MBA, MCA exam on August 4

Karnataka PGCET 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the revised date sheet for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2024). The exams for MBA and MCA courses postponed earlier will now be held on August 4. Registered candidates can download their admit card from the official website on July 27 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The exam was earlier scheduled to be held between July 5 and 10, was later postponed to avoid a clash with the final semester university exam at some institutions.

Students must have their login credentials such as application number and password, generated on the registration portal to download their KEA PGCET 2024 hall card from the official website.

According to the official notice of KEA, “PGCET-2024 will be conducted on 04-08-2024 for MBA and MCA courses as per the following revised timetable. Candidates, who have registered, applied and paid the fees for PGCET-2024, have to download the Admission Tickets from KEA Website on or after 27-07-2024 and appear for the exam”.

The PGCET exam for MBA and MCA courses will be held in two shifts – from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on August 4 (Sunday) with the question paper containing 100 questions and the maximum marks obtained will be 100.

Furthermore, the revised examination dates for ME and MTech courses will be released soon. While the successful candidates of GATE 2024 can directly register for MTech admission without appearing for the KEA PGCET 2024 exam.

The entrance exam will check the candidate’s proficiency in general knowledge, analytical ability and logical reasoning, computer awareness, quantitative analysis, and English language.
