As per NTA, the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result is expected to release by tonight (April 23).

JEE Main 2024 session 2 result will be announced soon at the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in.

NTA has have declared that four questions have been dropped from the final answer key for the session 2 exam. Those who appeared in the JEE Mains April session exam can check the final answer key at the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in.

As per NTA sources, the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result is expcted to release 24 hours after then final answer key. The session 2 final answer key was released in wee hours of April 21 night. Accordingly, the result is expected to release by April 23.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the answer key link given. 

Step 3:  Login using your date of birth (DOB) and application number.

Step 4: Click on submit option and final answer key will be displayed on screen.

Jamia Millia Islamia has launched a few self-financed programmes in BTech and MTech. The JEE Main 2024 session 2 final answer key was released in the wee hours of April 21. Students can download their scorecards from the official JEE website --  jeemain.nta.ac.in

As future engineers wait for JEE Main session 2 results, some of them have tirned to memes to find humour in these stressful times.

As per the revised dates, the registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 will begin on April 27.

The registration link will be active until May 7, with the last date for fee payment being May 10, until 5 pm. The application fee is Rs 3200, while for females and reserved category candidates, it's Rs 1600. Admit cards will be released on May 17 at 10 am and will be accessible on the website until May 26 at 2:30 pm.

JEE Advanced 2024 is scheduled for May 26, with Paper 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

IIT Kanour recently conducted ‘Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training’ in collaboration with professionals from the Suicide Prevention India Foundation (SPIF).

The training took place place on March 13 and 14, and witnessed an active involvement of 110 selected individuals from various backgrounds, including faculty, staff, hall managers, doctors, nurses, security personnel, and students. The primary objective of this training was to empower community members with essential skills required to assist individuals during crisis situations. "There is no fixed formula for managing studies. Prioritising is the key. I have made it a rule to understand things taught in class and then use that knowledge. I give 50 per cent time of the day to academics and the remaining 50 per cent to hobbies. I play badminton in the evening. I have also a harmonium in my room. Following the viral tweet of a JEE aspirant's intense study timetable, indianexpress.com sought insights from past toppers and a clinical psychologist regarding effective exam preparation strategies and the optimal approach during the final phase of studying.

A student of IIT Hyderabad (asking for anonymity) said that although he made timetables every day, he did not make any routines like this. “I would often make it unrealistic and end up doing less so it was counterproductive,” he said. The student told indianexpress.com that he started focussing on understanding the chapters and not on the amount of time he is dedicating to his studies. This made him more organised and productive.

Responding to the viral tweet, psychologist Manjuri Bharali Saikia said: “When one is sleep deprived, reaction time slows down, judgement capacity falls and concentration drops. Emotions also increase leading to irritations, anger issues and anxiety among students. With no time for self and less rest, the immune system also gets suppressed leading to illnesses which start from weight gain and obesity in young adults.”

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is a crucial step for admission into engineering colleges in India and serves as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. This exam is unique in its hybrid format: Paper 1 (B Tech/BE) is conducted online, while Paper 2 (B Arch) includes online sections for Aptitude and Maths, alongside an offline (pen and paper) section for drawing.

As per NTA information brochure, “If a question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.” This is specific to MCQ type questions.

If two candidates from the same shift have the same marks, then their percentile scores will be the same. However, if the candidates from different shifts score the same marks, the percentiles may be different.

Once the percentile scores are assigned to each candidate in every shift, these indicate the relative position of the candidate in their respective shift. This is a common, uniform scale of marks and hence the percentile scores can be compared with each other.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024 Session 2 results in next few days. 

There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of JEE Main 2024 result once declared. The decision of the NTA will be final in respect of the JEE result.

The JEE Main 2024 percentile scores are the scores derived based on the relative performances of all those who appear for the exam. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees, NTA stated in its official brochure.

A team of experts check all the raised objections and then finalised an answer key based on the same. 

The NTA has already released the JEE Main provisional answer key and had also asked the candidates to raise any objections against them. 

The JEE Main 2024 result will be compiled based on the final answer key released.
