Jamia Hamdard and IFTDM join to launch digital marketing course

Candidates must be a class 12 pass or graduate with a minimum 50 per cent score to be eligible for enrollment in the digital marketing course at IFTDM.

Jamia Hamdard University and Garage Productions Private Limited have signed an agreement to launch a new digital marketing course under the Institute for Film Training and Digital Marketing (IFTDM).

The new digital marketing six-month certificate programme is expected to start in the upcoming 2024 batch and the application process will open ‘soon’ at iftdm.com according to a statement issued in this regard.

The curriculum is designed to meet the industry standard and throughout the course, the student will have interaction and mentorship with industry expectations, access to the relevant latest technology and platform, hands-on training and even internship opportunities to have real-world experience.

During the signing ceremony of the MoU, Prof (Dr) M. Afshar Alam, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard said, “Digital Marketing has become the cornerstone of modern business strategies, and through IFTDM, we are equipping our students with the skills that are in astronomical demand in the corporate world.”

The ceremony was also attended by another member of Jamia Hamdard including, Dr M A Sikandar, Registrar; Prof S Raisuddin, Director, IQAC; Prof (Dr) Syeedun Nisa, Director, CTD. Vinod Kumar, Secretary to VC Garage Productions was represented by Saurabh Gupta, Director.

After the course completion students with the ensured with the skill set to excel in the digital marketing field and become a digital marketing manager, social media strategists, content marketing specialists, SEO or SEM experts, e-commerce marketing directors and even data analytics professionals.

Saurabh Gupta, Director of Garage Productions, said, “We are not just teaching digital marketing; we are cultivating digital visionaries. Our commitment goes beyond providing quality education – we aim to shape the future of digital marketing itself through our students.”
