IIT Palakkad Internship 2025: IIT Palakkad has announced six-week long residential summer internship programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students with hands-on research experience. The programme will start in May. Students who are shortlisted will get an opportunity to learn both hardware and software analysis tools along with exposure to a variety of research domains.
Both Indian and foreign nationals who meet the eligibility can enrol for the internship. Students from IIT Palakkad are not eligible for this internship programme, and foreign nationals studying in Indian institutions will be treated on par with Indian nationals.

The application for the internship will conclude on March 18 and the programme will start between May 21 and July 2025.
– Postgraduate students, including 4th and 5th-year integrated master’s students in streams like science, engineering, and humanities.
– Students studying in the third and fourth year of their undergraduate course in engineering, technology, and science streams are also eligible to apply.
Applicants are required to create an account on the official website of the Institute using a valid email ID. A system-generated email will be sent for further instructions. If emails do not arrive, applicants should contact summer-internship@iitpkd.ac.in for assistance.
Selection will be based on academic performance, research aptitude, and alignment of interests with the available research areas.
–Selected candidates will receive financial support of Rs 8000 per month, totaling Rs 12000 for the duration of the complete programme.
–Accommodation will be provided on a shared basis, however, students will need to cover hostel room rent and mess charges.
–An internship certificate will be given to those who complete the programme.
