ICAI CA Admit Card May 2024 (Out) Updates: CA inter, final exam hall ticket link active at icai.org

Candidates are unahppy with their CA exam centres, as many are complaining that the centre is either far away, or students are unsure if it would be in the best condition.

"My exam constituency is Bhagalpur, Bihar whereas I am from New Delhi. I am sure I will not be travelling back to Delhi as the travelling time will hinder with my preparations. The proximity of the exam dates (May 8 and 14) to the election dates (May 7 and 13) is problematic for CA students. There are many other CA aspirants like me who are facing this issue. After downloading the CA admit card 2024, candidates should verify their name, registration numbers, photographs, signatures, centres, medium and group.

As ICAI released the admit cards for CA Inter and final May exams today, people have started sharing memes about the days when some aspirants were asking for postponement of exams due to general elections.

The CA final exams for group 1 will be held on May 2, 4 and 8. Group 2 exams will be held on May 10, 14 and 16.

To download the ICAI CA 2024 hall tickets, candidates have to use their ICAI CA inter or ICAI CA final exam registration numbers and other required login credentials.

Step 1: Visit the official website — icai.org or icaiexam.icai.org

Step 2: On the home page, click on the links provided for final and intermediate admit cards.

Step 3: Login using your user id and password.

Step 4: Once you login, you will be able to see your admit card.

Step 5: Download and save for future reference.

The ICAI has not yet made the link to download the CA intermediate exam admit card. Candidates will require their CA registration number and password to download the CA hall ticket.

The ICAI has made the CA final exam admit card links live at icai.org.

This time, the ICAI CA May 2024 inter and final examintions will also be held at eight overseas exam centres -- Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat. The exam start time will be equivalent to 2 pm (IST).

The ICAI website has put two links to download the CA inter and CA final exam admit cards. However, the links are not opening to admit card window.

The ICAI CA admit card download link will be made live at icai.org. Students will have to use their registration numbers to download and access the CA inter and final admit card.

Charanjot Singh Nanda has been elected as Vice President for the Year 2024-25. He passed BCom from M L N College in 1987 and was placed in Kurukshetra University merit list during all three years. He was also a rank holder in CA Inter examination and completed his Chartered Accountancy in 1991.

Earlier, Nanda was appointed as Central Council Member of ICAI India. He also served as the chairman for Digital Accounting & Assurance Board, Committee on Financial Markets and Investors’ Protection and vice chairman for Board of Internal Audit and Management Accounting of ICA India. Additionally, he was also the chairman for Committee on Information Technology of SAFA.

ICAI elected Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal as their new President. The baton has been passed from Aniket S. Talati to CA Ranjeet. He has assumed charge as the 72nd President of ICAI. A graduate of Calcutta University, Agarwal is a practicing Chartered Accountant since last 24 years. He is also a Company Secretary and DISA from ICAI. He was elected to the 23rd, 24th and 25th Central Council of ICAI three times in a row.

While ICAI revised the exam dates to avoid any clash with the dates of general elections, Anuj Kumar Jaiswal, a CA aspirant said that his exam constituency is Bhagalpur, Bihar whereas he is from New Delhi.

The Delhi High Court last week dismissed a plea to revise the CA exams. CA aspirants had knocked the court’s door requesting that the ICAI be asked to postpone the CA May 2024 exams.

“This court is surprised that such a request has been made,” the court said. “For all the aforesaid reason, it is clear on the face of it that the petition is bereft of substance,” it added.

The CA final exams for group 1 will be held on May 2, 4 and 8. Group 2 exams will be held on May 10, 14 and 16.

The ICAI CA inter exams will be conducted in from May 3 to May 17. The ICAI inter CA exams (group 1) will be held on May 3, 5 and 9 and the ICAI CA group 2 exams will be held on May 11, 15 and 17. 

The ICAI will likely release the CA inter and final exam admit cards today. The icai.org website will make the links active to download the ICAI admit card May 2024 exam.
