(Representative/ Express Photo) GSEB GUJCET Results 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the results for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2024 on May 9. Candidates who appeared for the state-level exam can download the GUJCET result 2024 from the official website, gseb.org.
The GUJCET is for candidates who are seeking admission to BTech and BPharma courses. Students have to use their respective login credentials like seat number among other details to download the results. This year, 510 students in the state-level group A examination secured above the 99 percentile and 990 in group B. Over 1.37 lakh students appeared for the examination which was held on March 31.
Step 1: Candidates can check their 2024 result, by visiting the official website, gujcet.gseb.org.
Step 2: A login page will open, then applicants have to fill in the six digits seat number in the given space.
Step 3: Submit the details.
Step 4: The scorecard will appear on the screen in PDF format.
It is advised to the candidates to take the printout of it and keep it safe for future references. To check malpractices, 673 exam buildings across 34 centers — all 33 districts and Ahmedabad city — were under CCTV surveillance.
Students applying under the general category must attain a total score of 45 per cent, equivalent to 54 out of 120 marks to seek admission, while candidates from scheduled castes and tribes, and other backward classes are required to secure a minimum of 40 per cent, which equals 48 out of 120 marks, in order to qualify for the GUJCET 2024.
The GUJCET merit list will be made available by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) following the completion of counseling registration. It will be compiled based on the exam scores. Candidates will be able to view their rankings in the merit list on the official website gujacpc.nic.in. The final merit list will be published after addressing any challenges raised regarding the provisional merit list.
