(Express Photo/ Represenative Image )GBSHSE Goa Board SSC 10th Result 2024 Declared: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will today declare the class 10 result 2024. Once released, Students can check the SSC marksheets at the official Goa Board website – gbshse.in.
This year the pass percentage is 92.38 per cent with girls performing better than boys. This year, out of the total 9,318 boys, 8,556 boys passed, securing 91.82 per cent. Out of the total of 9,596 girls, 8,918 girls passed the examination, securing 92.93 per cent.
A total of 18,914 students appeared for the exam, out of which 17,473 students passed the examination. The results for 59 girls and 38 boys are reserved by the Goa Board.
The pass percentage of divyang candidates is 87.72 per cent with 407 candidates passed from a total of 464. This year there were four special schools. Two of the special schools scored 100 percent while the other two scored 50 per cent and 60 per cent.
There are 3809 candidates who scored between 75 and 100, while 5348 students scored between 46 to 59.
A total of 476 candidates need improvement in the results. Lookin district wise, Canacona district topped with 95. 02 pass percentage followed by Ponda (94.31%), Pernem (94.25%). The least scorer is Dharbandora with 87.35 per cent.
This year, a total of 19,557 students appeared for the SSC exams, out of which 9,743 were boys and 9,814 were girls. A total of 242 students were repeaters and 385 were private students.

Passing criteria is 33 per cent out of 100 marks provided candidate gets minimum 21 per cent of combine marks of term 1 and term 2 examination.
Last year, as per the statistics released by Goa Board, the best performing taluka was Pernem with a total of 1024 passing the exam, whereas the least performing district was Mormugao with 1653 students passing the exam and securing 95.16 passing percentage.
