GATE Result 2024: The Indian Institute of Sciences Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) has released the scorecards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. Candidates who qualified for the exam can download their scorecards from the official website — gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The GATE 2024 cut-off is also already out.
Scorecards can be downloaded from the official GATE website — gate2024.iisc.ac.in — between March 22 and May 31, 2024.
Hailing from West Bengal’s Bardhaman district, Raja Majhi has achieved All India Rank 1 in the electronics and communication engineering stream of the recently released Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 results.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, 21-year-old Piyush Kumar improved his Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering rank from 530 in 2023 to AIR 1 this year. His potion to success, he claims, was ensuring that all his concepts are clear.
Over 8.26 lakh applications were received spanning over 30 test papers. Of these, 6,53,292 candidates appeared for the exam.
According to the cutoff for that category and test paper, the total number of candidates who qualified in all test papers in their respective categories (GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD) is 1,29,268.
This time, GATE saw an increase of 23 per cent in enrollment, as last year about 6.70 lakh candidates registered for 29 papers, in total. Out of these, 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the exam with an overall attendance of about 77 per cent.
GATE 2024 introduced a new test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA), which attracted 52,743 applications, of which 39,210 candidates appeared for the test, and 8,378 candidates qualified the test.
