CUET UG 2023: University Grants Commission Chairperson, M Jagadesh Kumar today said that two phases of the Common University Entrance Test UG 2023 have been concluded. A total of 14,88,375 students were scheduled to appear for the exam during these two phases. The average attendance during the first two phases was 69.3 per cent.
CUET-UG began on 21st May 2023. The first phase was from 21st May to 24th May, and the second was from 25th May to 28th May. In both phases, the total number of students scheduled was 1488375, and the average attendance so far was 69.3%.

During the first two phases, the National Testing Agency conducted CUET UG 2023 in 303 cities at 712 centres.

The third phase will be conducted from May 29 to June 2 and the fourth phase will commence from June 5.
A total 14,99,778 candidates registered for CUET UG 2023. The exams which began on May 21 will go on June 6 with June 7 and 8 being buffer days. The admit cards have been released for exam till June 2.
A total of 87,309 registered from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. As there were a large number of students, the NTA assigned centres to many of them in neighbouring states. After students complained regarding the same, the NTA postponed the exam in the union territory from May 21 to May 26 onwards.
In Manipur, due to the law and order situation the exams have been scheduled from June 5 to 8. Students belonging to Manipur can change their examination cities and appear from other states in view of the current situation.
