
CUET PG 2023, Registration Begins at cuet.nta.nic.in: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration for Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) 2023 examination. Interested and eligible students can register at the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in.
According to the official announcement made by the UGC Chief, M Jagadesh Kumar, the CUET PG registration will conclude at 5 pm of April 19. As of now, the final exam dates have not been announced, but can be expected by the next month.
Earlier, Kumar had announced that the CUET PG 2023 exam will be conducted from June 1 till June 10, 2023. The results for the same are expected to release in July. With this schedule, the UGC Chief is hoping that the universities will be able to start their academic calendar by August 1.
“We decide the application fee based on the estimate of the cost required to conduct the exam. Now, all of this is different every year. In this year’s exam, we have more number of participating universities, so the cost involved will be more. In different universities, they have different types of subjects and different expectations, so if you have more subjects then naturally you will incur more cost,” NTA Chief, Vineet Joshi explained.
The admissions to Non- Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB), Delhi University will be based on the scores obtained in Central University Entrance Test CUET PG 2023. However, PG admissions to the School Open Learning (DDCE) and the admission of foreign nationals will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination. Read more

According to the list released by the NTA, a total of 142 universities are participating in CUET PG 2023 exam, as of now.

Unlike the undergraduate part of the entrance exam, CUET PG has not been made compulsory for all universities across the country, or even in the central universities. However, UGC has urged all central universities to take up CUET PG for admissions to post graduate admissions.
The CUET PG 2023 exam will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) format.
There will be a total of 100 questions for each paper. Except for PGQP38 and PGQP40, every paper will be divided into two parts. Each of the other papers will Part A comprising 25 MCQs and Part B comprising 75 MCQs.
Part B will comprise of questions pertaining to domain knowledge or will be questions of specific language in case of PGQP60.
Part A will have various questions mainly regarding General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative ability, Language comprehension/Verbal ability
In case of PGQP38, all 100 questions will be of language comprehension/verbal ability, mathematical/quantitative ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning.
In PGQP40 all 100 questions will be based on language comprehension, verbal ability, general knowledge, general awareness, computer basics and logical reasoning.
Jamia Millia Islamia wrote a letter to UGC informing that it will only accept CUET scores for admissions to 20 UG, PG courses - 15 undergraduate courses and 5 postgraduate courses. For this, candidates have to fill out both CUET and Jamia’s application form.

No, you do not need to send/ submit the confirmation page of online application form (or any document) to NTA. However, they are advised to retain the following documents with them for any future reference/correspondence:
- Copy of the confirmation page of online application form
- Proof of fee paid
- Photographs (same as uploaded on the online application form)
The name of test centre will be mentioned on the admit card that will issued by the NTA a few days before the exam date.

Even though there were several technical glitches in the common entrance exam last year, Subhas Sarkar recently told Lok Sabha that CUET was conducted successfully. “Last date for admissions in the University of Delhi during the last three years were as follows: 31.08.2019 (2019-20), 15.01.2021 (2020-21) and 31.12.2021 (2021-22),” he said.
Sarkar also added that the academic year started smoothly, even though the test was conducted at a huge scale. “The scale of the test was huge and some difficulties were faced by the students due to technical and geo-climatic reasons and the test was rescheduled in such cases. Candidates should remember that the question paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya, Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya courses. Further, in case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya, the entire 100 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit language only.
